With no notam times posted, I went up to Nellis around 10am hoping they would launch around 10:30 like the last Red Flag. When I got there there were four B-2 Spirits and one B-1 Lancer on the ramp by the tower. There were another three B-1s on the bomber pad just to the South. I didn't see any AWACs, just cargo planes in their usual parking spot. I was hoping I just missed them and I wouldn't have to wait too long. It's cold outside! No such luck. I waited around until 1:30pm and all I saw fly was one KC-135 tanker at noon. Anybody know if they launched today or was it possibly quiet for Martin Luther King Day? All in all, it was a very uneventful day.
