I have no idea about the Raptors. We will get two squadrons of them for the 199th & 531st. I occasionally see C-17s from March at Hickam. When I went to Okinawa on Space-A, it was on a Hickam C-17. Almost completely empty, but apparently, it carried a helicopter back to Hawaii. C-17s are quite roomy when they are empty! They are also NOISY and COLD. Of course, those drawbacks are easily offset by Bose noise-cancelling headphones, blankets, and the convenience of AC outlets on the fuselage wall to plug a laptop in!
