I know this article refers to the United States flying actual Soviet aircraft but while at the Nellis Airshow, they had two US made Aggressor aircraft on static display. Both were painted up in Soviet paint and markings, complete with hammer and sickle engine and pitot covers. While waiting for people to clear away for a photo, a girl from Russia posed for a photo with an Aggressor pilot. She seemed proud of her Russian background but I asked the pilot after if Russia has ever participated in a Red Flag. And how did they feel about them being portrayed as the "bad guys." The pilot replied he didn't think they were ever in a Red Flag exercise. And until they stop selling their hardware to our enemies... (with a laugh and shrug). My response was good point I guess. I did buy an Aggressor T-shirt from them! Lol!

Just an Aggressor pilot's view I thought to pass on...
