Here is an interesting spot that could see (in theory) Hangar 18.
N36.362259 W115.655318
It is a spot around Mt. Charleston, on a forrest service road just off of Lee Canyon.

Also, Bonanza Peak should have a view. I tried hiking Bonanza Peak in May once and ran into snow. Deep snow. I assume it is okay in late summer.
