lone wolf makes a good point about multiple scanners. I have been listening to police/fire for years on various RS scanners.

I recently bought a PRO-97 due to the milair capability and reasonable price. Due to the recent heat wave and fire season, it became necessary for me to monitor CDF fire as well.

I became frustrated trying to monitor both aircraft and fire on the same scanner, so I dragged out my old PRO-75 and now listen to both.

I can see I now need a mobile for my truck...;)
