Saw a nice view of STS-121/ISS tonight at 19:43 HST! I live at the leeward edge of the Koolau Mountain range, so there is usually no shortage of clouds forming over the range and drifting over my place on the ever-present trade winds. Needless to say, that makes satellite viewing a challenge! Tonight, there were just enough breaks in the clouds to get an awesome view. A few minutes later, the much fainter Cosmos 1206 Rocket body passed overhead. If you have an accurate digital watch synched to the link I added, a compass, and the viewing information from Heavens-Above, you can easily spot any visible satellite or piece of space junk.
