Yes, it was an eyecatching and memorable license plate, even though at the time, my friends and I found great amusement at the thought of a jet-powered Honda car. There was a guy over in the SF valley at the time that had a turbine-powered Corvette, but it was a much more major conversion, front mounted engine replacing the original, etc. It was very unstreetable, as even with a large exhaust diffuser grate, it tended to melt the asphalt. Imagine my surprise some 25 years or so later, when I read about the infamous Mr. Lazar, and realize that he was in my neighborhood way back when.
