Both events have now been reviewed by a seismologist. The surface event (#1) actually moved 1.5 miles closer to the airfield and its' magnitude revised upward to 1.8. The NTS event (#2) also moved closer to the airfield by about a mile, the magnitude remained unchanged, but the depth was revised to surface! The new locations are now a fair distance from mountainous terrain, ruling out rock slides as a possible cause...

So, both events occurred on the surface about 20 minutes and 6 miles apart... Hmmm... Am I the only one who finds this odd?
