I believe that President Kennedy visited the Nevada Test Site and/or the Nellis Air Force Range. I'm not sure when the name was changed from the Las Vegas Bombing and Gunnery Range to the Nellis Air Force Range. In any case, I don't know if he visited the Groom Lake base. Also, I'm not sure where I read this before so if I'm wrong someone please correct me.
