DTRA already has a valid permit from 2004 for a 940 ton blast. The EPA according to this mornings wire will have paperwork in place for the state agencies requiring documentation. DTRA reports that this will be ready within 2 weeks. In addition, there will be air monitoring stations set up in the region to monitor air quality. They are expecting the dust cloud to reach maximum of 8500 feet and to not leave the test area. There would be a delay if wind speeds are expected above certain mph, or other weather conditions on that day dictate a change of date. So as of this morning, the test is still a go according to the AP.
