You know well that some information pertaining to the projects they worked on was declassified. That is the only reason they share them with others, and even then, there are still secrets they can't share with others, and will take to the grave with them, just like the area 51 workers of today.

Technically, one can verfiy the existance of the complex, but they will never get into details about the location of this complex or the name assosciated with it. I know tons of people who worked up (and some still do), there and have made jokes about them faking the first moon landing up there, but they will never identify the complex, or they will call "it" (whatever it is they are working on up there) a UFO, which doesn't pertain to the alien bs, but "unidentified flying object", which is entirely true.
