I was looking at the Nevada DOT map and was wondering if the National Wildhorse Management Area was Accessible to the public. Wheelbarrow Peak is 8484 Ft. and looks about the same distance as Tikaboo Peak. On the Las Vegas Sectional Chart, there is a dirt road leading there however, it looks like it is passed the Back Gate Gaurdshack to Groom Lake. Searching the Web it looks like the NWMA is off limits. Even if you could climb Wheelbarrow Peak, I think the view of Area 51 would be obstructed. On Joerg's panorama it looks like the west side of the base is up against a fairly large hill.
