I tried to understand the path Freeman followed in his adventure. I cross checked the sectional chart present in the paper of Las Vegas Sun (why did he use a sectional??) and Google Earth. I can't understand his ingress point. He says he's reaching Cane Springs when he finds the City od the Deads, so I suppose he enters somewhere between Groom lake main gate and back gate.

However, in Google Earth I can't find anything that resembles a bunch of trailers and odd structures.
