I'm sure this guy's name has been tossed around here before, so I'll toss it around again. I believe it was Glenn Campbell, along with A. Von Retyi, whom first connected the dots back in 1996. Has anyone ever looked into this guy's past a little deeper? His bio clearly states that from July 1987 til June 1990 he served as a Flight Test Manager at Detachment 3 of the AFFTC. My idea would be, that as an astronaut/pilot, he would be more than qualified for high speed programs. Anyone have any additional info?
