Not that I am careless or inexperienced (or stupid) enough to ever cross the borders and end up in that situation, but what if you refuse to sign the papers? I wouldn't.

Also, I heard a story about some Japanese tourists who went out there hiking and crossed the borders not knowing what it was. They got in a lot of trouble. I don't know many details about it, but I heard about it anyway.

Also, another story I heard was that this guy pulled up to the back gate to take pictures and the security guy in the booth KNEW HIS NAME!! That's a scary thought... I didn't even know the Cammo Dudes were allowed to talk to you, but I heard they talked to this guy.. can't for the life of me remember any more details of that story though.
