Unmanned Aerial Vehicles or UAV's are a common sight nowadays. Aircraft manufacturers have made many different designs.
One such Manufacturer that has really gone 'far' and done extremely well in UAV's is Teledyne Ryan. Teledyne Ryan are based in San Diego but they have their own site at Area 51 called S-9. Teledyne are involved in quite a few designs and their most recent are the TIER series. TIER-3 plus, TIER -2 etc are being developed at Area 51 and Edwards AFB along with Lockheed, Teledyne Ryan and Northrop.
