This awesome 270° Panorama was taken by Tom Mahood, one of the original Groom Lake Interceptors, in the morning of May 10, 2002 from Tikaboo Peak. It covers an angle from about 160° (true north heading, left) clockwise to 70° (right). The image is quite large. You will need to scroll right to see the full panorama.
Tom used an Olympus digital camera and an image processing software that allows to automatically stitch together the individual images. It was a very clear day, and as you can see the result is really impressive. In the south you can see all the way to Mount Charleston near Las Vegas. Thank you so much Tom, for letting us show the panorama here!
