There is a SR-71 freestanding and unfenced right in front of the USAF's Weapons and Armaments' Museum close to Hurlbert Field at Eglin AFB. Like most underadvertised Military museums it's very interesting and full of neat stuff. It's been a few years since I was there to help get a friend a Siver Star at a Air Commando reunion, but that whole panhandle area of Florida has got it's quotient of spooky stuff too.
