While visiting Vegas this summer my family and I made the drive out to Rachel. I will never forget it. Granted the wife and daughters were not too impressed with the scenery and all, but I really enjoyed it. Driving across Tickaboo was a real treat, it's 27 miles across as I remember. Visions of super futuristic flying machines danced across my imagination. I had to stop at the Little A'Le'Inn - funny thing - the pictures we took there never developed. The entire area was strangely errie to me. I would like to make a trip back out there sometime to hike around the hills and just watch.
