Interesting. In Australia, if there is a bushfire in a local or remote area here (we call them 'Shires' rather than counties), then everyone from the garbarge collector to the mayor knows about it whether the fire dept fought it or not. I know it's technically DoD land in the Groom Range, but you'd think they'd know something about it in case it spread to adjoining land. Magoo
