Footage of the B-21 taken during its first flight reveals a number of previously-concealed/unnoticed features, including possible small weapons bays next to the main central weapons bay, a secondary air intake that opens for increased airflow into the engine intakes, and retractable navigation lights. Defense analysts have suggested that the B-21 has two engines, perhaps a non-afterburning variant of the Pratt & Whitney F135 turbofan, and the secondary air intake seems to bolster that interpretation. By the way, how does the B-21's wingspan compare with that of the B-2 when photos of the underside of the B-2 are superimposed on those showing the B-21's underside?
