Evan Dertien was The Commander of Area 51 from February of 2014 to June of 2016. Higer was The Commander of Area 51 from July 2018 to February 2020. Matthew Higer was the commander of The Installation at Groom Lake during the “Storm Area 51” cultural crazy.
