If it is anything, anything at all for the US Gov., it is the US Gov. who can say where and when it is declassified.

If it is internal R&D, then it is down to the company. However, if it is company R&D and for future bidding on projects? Ironically it'll stay hidden longer, especially if it is related to advancements in unusual directions.
