Great article, thank you for sharing! I completely agree with your thoughts and those posted by others here. I hope and believe that the U-2 will at the very least have a long career as a test bed and research aircraft still to come. Similar to the F-117, which "retired" in 2008 and is still flying almost daily today, 15 years later.
