When people realize that there is a VERY specific aerodynamic plus to having that configuration (Hint: Stability at high speed) they will see that the 'humps and lumps' mean more that serpentine ducts.


*For those not willing to to any research then: If you have two depressions running the length of your airframe's underside (Max 30% from center line), and corresponding rises on the upper surface, you create two 'rails' of of air that act as efficiently as vertical stabilizers when at high speed.

ironic isn't it? The faster you go, the harder the air works, and the more stable your airframe.

Those humps divots and curves are not just there to make it look sexy.
