I might suppose so, given that Boeing built and flew the X-48 subscale technology demonstrator for its BWB design. Boeing and Lockheed Martin could be given contracts to build full-size tech demonstrators for their hybrid wing body designs, in which case potential Boeing and LM hybrid wing body demonstrators would be designated X-52 and X-58 respectively.
