Not sure why nobody has made the connection that Bill Scott (AvWeek) and Col Rick Couch (Copilot on B-2 first flight and CTF commander) were classmates at USAF TPS. In fact, in their official TPS class photo they are standing next to each other.

Rumor had it that AvWeek had obtained some juicy info but the USAF promised them a scoop if they held off on publishing it until the rollout. Allowing them the flyover while they looked the other way was that scoop...
