Back in 2007, when NASA cleared its inventory of Blackbird spare parts and materials, fourteen J58 engines were shipped to Davis-Monthan AFB for demil. Not sure if that was carried out, but I assume so. A bunch of start carts (and like-new V-8 engines) were scrapped and containers of triethylborane incinerated. A real shame.
