One aspect of AI that blows people's mind's is that we can now have the airframe respond (Near instantly, in real-time) to being scanned with electromagnetic energies be it an AESA, a LIDAR, or any other such methods of detection from an active source. Add cool flow, adapt the active skin (decrease apertures*, increase conductivity), turn slightly, adjust shape and form, send decoys and destructive returns, and all done in order to make herself as small as possible to any enemy sensors that could pose a possible threat. All in real-time and faster than a pilot could ever react. * When people see the newest generation of optics and go *WTF?* They will be looking at what appears to be a composite skin, but it is actually a meta material optical lens. Quite the thing to see.
