The Phoenix Air shuttles out of Pt Mugu started in 2007 if I remember correctly. Originally they were flying Gulfstream I turboprops back and forth to San Nic off the coast. They won the contract from the company, I forget their name, that was using Metroliners. They eventually also took over the route back and forth to China Lake. As the Gulfstreams started to age out they started switching over to the EMB-120s. They never did, and to my knowledge still don't, have anything to do with any JANET flights or any of their destinations.
