I saw both aircraft (JANET09 Beech King Air N989RR shown to fly LAS-PMD and Phoenix Air EMB 120 N460PA flying its standard route from Point Mugu to China Lake) circling quite some distance apart from each other at around 8:25am local time today. N989RR circling east of Randsburg while N460PA was cicrling southwest of Inyokern near Red Rock Canyon State Park. Maybe weather related? The daily Phoenix Air shuttle between NAS China Lake and Point Mugu has been around for many years (N405PA, N460PA). Like the daily Northrop Grumman Beech King Air company shuttle flights between LAX and PMD (N77NG) as well as between MYF-PMD (N72NG). But those shuttles rarely get much attention although some of their cargo may use the Janets on occasion as well ;-)
