Gabe, welcome to Dreamland Resort and thank you for sharing your excellent photos with us. I hope publishing the photos won't get you in trouble. And I apologize in advance for some of the speculations we all came up with in solving the mystery of N8077S. I was most intrigued by your flight last weekend approaching Groom from the south. Did you not get any static from Nellis Control? A friend and I did a flight along 375 years ago and we were told in no unclear terms not to come any closer to the "box". I know the 70's ranges are sometimes opened for civilian pilots when the ranges are cold, but I have never heard of a civilian pilot being allowed to enter the 60's from the south. Can I ask what equipment you use for the photos? I assume a good IS lens? The flight yesterday must have been pretty choppy. We had 45+MPH winds in Rachel.
