I really wish we here in Rachel had their problems. We are expecting 50,000 (according to county commission chairman Varlin Higbee) in a town of 50! Still no emergency preparations are made, or if they are made residents are not kept informed on what is being done. Our emails to the county seat are no longer returned. The difference is: We are the tail end of Lincoln County and no one gives a damn about us.
