Maybe time to loosen up on that skeptic orientation a bit? Pilots have been reporting similar things going back to Kenneth Arnold in June 1947. It does seem to be approaching some sort of tipping point to seriousness though. Leslie Kean had apparently been expecting this second NYT article to drop in early 2018 - a followup to the December 2017 article. It's a slow process, and one that should be taken seriously, I think. Thanks for the link to the Drive article. Fascinating. I am, just FYI, not only a skeptic but an active critic of the intentional fraud (apparently designed for revenue or ego maximization) that is the bulk of the UFO "field of study." Yet, there are spikes in that morass of very compelling, extremely interesting, but seemingly impossible to replicate cases worth letting the skepticism down for a bit and looking at objectively.
