Construction on Hwy 93 between I-15 and the Glendale turnoff has been going on since this spring, with frequent delays due to 1-lane traffic. It is a scaled-back version of the original plan to widen the highway as 4-lane divided highway up to the planned 125,000 people Coyote Springs development. That development fell apart and the golf course, which is partially finished, does not see much traffic. So the project was scaled back to re-doing the 93/I-15 intersection and widening the hwy up to the first hill north on 93.

There used to be a video on the NDOT web site with a simulation showing the new flow of traffic at the intersection. I got dizzy just watching it. I fully expected some of the simulated cars to run into each other. Navigating the new intersection will be a nightmare that will make the Las Vegas spaghetti bowl look like child's play.
