The trail on the right is the original trail. It looks like an easy drive, but its still a bit rough around the steep climbs. The worst section is just before you get to the turnaround on top. It looks flat from above, but it is actually quite steep. The trail on the left is even worse. It is not being used much. Ii looks like maintenance crews use it to get to the second power pole.
