I was at the F-117's first public display at Nellis AFB, April 1990. It was also under heavy guard (M-16s and K-9s). It was roped off of course but you could still get right up there. As you can imagine the crowd was in awe. I guess I'm pretty lucky as I got to see the first roll out and I was in Tonopah to watch them land. What an amazing aircraft!
