I am looking at going out to Groom to go up Tikaboo. I understand that 4x4 is needed but is a normal 4x4 sufficient or would something specialized be needed? I am wondering if something like a lightly modified Jeep or 4Runner be sufficient or if something like a dedicated rock crawler/trail vehicle be needed? Also would something like a UniMog make it? They are a bit big and top heavy but very durable and capable of road vehicles.
