Fencing and landmark

I have gone over the areas all around Area 51, Tonopah, Nellis, Creech, etc on Google Earth, and was wondering if someone could enlighten me on the security fencing. Despite being odd that within a top secret installation certain areas would be fenced off, I have found areas with double fencing. Does a single row of fencing indicate one thing and double fencing, with a gap between, mean something else? Nuclear perhaps? Also, in the earliest photo for the Area 6 landing strip, the area looked as though it was a fenced off circle compound that they then put the airstrip inside of. There are other areas that have fenced off circles too. Some are obviously underground explosion test sites, with what appears to still have the cabling going underground in the direction of the cement pads.
Thanks in advance for any comments.
