No earth-shattering news but this short article from TheAviationonist.com was interesting. Declassified documents show that President Reagan personally wrote to PM Thatcher offering to allow RAF to purchase the F-117 in 1986. Thatcher's staff decided that Britain did not want to purchase the aircraft while it was still secret. Later in 1995, Britain was again offered an upgraded "F-117C" (B-2 style intakes, etc) but again declined, sticking with the Tornado G4.
