In early November 2011 I made my first trip down Groom Lake Road to the signs. Just as I got there an F-16 came up behind me flew directly overhead and made a turn to the left right above me. He was not low, but his direction of travel put him in exact alignment with the GLakeRd. It was the only jet I saw all day and probably was just a coincidence that it happened right as I got out of my car and started walking towards the warning signs. Just made me wonder if they 'buzz' visitors?
