That is confirmed. Bob is not quite dead yet, thank goodness. But he is in pretty rough shape. Keep him in your thoughts and prayers. Another X-15 pilot/astronaut, Bill Dana, is also in a nursing home. When these men pass, that will leave just Neil Armstrong and Joe Engle as the last remaining X-15 pilots. We are approaching the end of an era.
